I think it’s a good sign when the equipment used to make an oversized sticky bun is made by the same manufacturers who are known for serious machinery, John Deere in this case. Obviously Isles’s buns won’t be described with these adjectives: petite, delicate or light, but these descriptors do apply: hefty, hearty, sticky, gooey. If you are a wimpy bun eater, bring a friend to share one of the big ones or get a puppy dog tail. Because I am not a wimpy bun eater (and have my own bun in the oven to feed), I swiftly devoured every doughy bite of goodness.
